Our maiden year and the very first edition of FOE, 2022 was held at the iconic Salarjung museum on the banks of the ancient river Musi, once known as the Muchakunda. The choice of the venue was deliberate in keeping with the motif for the year, ‘APAH’ (water). It served as a grim but necessary reminder of how negligence of our natural resources affects all our lives.

As an ode to the water resources in Hyderabad and surrounding areas, the festival exhibited old and rare pictures of lakes and water tanks, both natural and artificial, in the region.

Here’s a short presentation on the river Musi

that was shown at the festival.
